Just curious, wouldn’t the reserve availablity screen be best for that?

Thats easy. Go to crew companion, look at reserves. Throw your seniority in the mix and watch it for a few days.

I just find it more convenient to see a month view and look at how many days used and what kind of trips. The RSV avail is 'ok' but when someone gets a trip they are off the list and won't show up until their last day when they go back on long call. Unless I'm just an idiot and don't know what I'm looking at.

I’ve been around long enough to see other union brothers be convicted of rape, murder, incest, running ***** houses, etc. Advertising your schedule to people you don’t know is foolish. I also don’t leave a sign in my yard saying I’m out of town.

Yep, every calendar is published in PBS - free for download AND every open trip is available in CCS. It’s easy to see what every pilot on the property is awarded by BES. This IS a total non-issue.

As for not getting the contract, the NC had a lot to do with that.

This^^^ 110%. I've had to do the same. Both defending and helping pilots.

Or to reflect other opinions in this thread: Mind your own damned business, worry about yourself and not others, find the information elsewhere in PBS, CCS and Crew Companion where it's available, and can we please stop picking the fly s--t out of the pepper and get back to gaining an industry leading contract.

Too much work. Just pull up the crew list by the flight number and date.

Completely agree. This “non issue” is driven by paranoid individuals who think they’re the victims of a giant conspiracy designed solely for the purpose of screwing them over.

As posted elsewhere, there are too many easier ways to see who got assigned to what trip.

Not sure where you got that, but it certainly wasn't from me.

Line pilots are the ones who detect contractual violations and alert the SSC and other committee members via PDRs. More transparency = better contractual enforcement.

Line pilots are also the ones who get themselves into trouble by doing stupid sh!t with other pilots’ schedules.

To say nothing about all of the work that’s created for our (unpaid) ALPA volunteers who have to spend huge amounts of their time on Quixotic quests for the smoking gun at the heart of some delusional conspiracy wet dream.

(As a guy who’s had the privilege of supervising those unpaid ALPA volunteers in a past life I’d rather everyone’s schedules were blocked. It’s not worth the hassle.)
