I have personally heard this exact thing from several LCAs and TK instructors. And I’m just one noob out on the line. I imagine there’s quite a few more with the same thoughts.

Maybe some of the more senior ones, yes, but those young folks taking these jobs don't seem to feel that way. They are just taking the opportunity to get what is perceived as a jump in QoL. As long as they can keep attracting people, the current book isn't a problem in that regard.

“It’s the junior pilots that are ruining things!”

For what it’s worth anecdotally, I’ve heard the exact opposite sentiment.

Me too… and some have already bailed. They’re just not junior.

Not directed at you, but does anyone know what these “improvements” are? More importantly, why is everything still being kept secret? We’ve seen how good that works with TUMI TA.

Maybe. Delta pilots are fighting hard. Hopefully United doesn’t put out another **** TA that undercuts the Delta union’s hard work. Voting down last one gave DALPA a boost but a new one could hurt them again.

They’re dropping the TUMI for TA2 and instead providing a free pair of plain white New Balance shoes, knee high socks, a commemorative plate from InfoWars, and a sticker book of “I did that” memes to place at gas pumps. God help us because it’ll pass.

I’d rather pay taxes on money I can spend than go into an health retirement account that is very limited on how and when I can spend it. We are the only carrier that forces all overages into an HRA. 401(a)17 excess for every other major is in cash.
