Expanding on what I said in my post earlier this looks an awful lot like what we intend to ask for and not necessarily what the company will offer. As I have said time and again, I recognize I am terrible at reading ALPA Tea Leaves, however, the communications to date seem to imply (at least to me) that the MEC has a good handle on what WE want, but I see no indication we have passed that information on to the company as of yet. Wasn't there a communique that mentioned waiting until after March 1st to start anything?? Anybody keep a copy of that??

I got a new survey from ALPA for final direction to the negotiating committee. It wasn’t very extensive but it had a section for reserve improvements that will interest many here as well as a block to write what you want to see in the next deal. It’s not an exhaustive survey by any means, but it is one more chance to participate and let them know your priorities.

This is completely true. We must demand that the 5% we were given to take a pay cut during Covid is over and above our let’s-catch-up-with-delta contract. If we don’t demand this, we are allowing our union to be completely outplayed, because essentially the company will have gotten all the Covid concessions for free (oh m, except for 1st class DH).
