Do you think this is a civil discussion? (My underline for emphasis) "I agree. If these guys are so against the companies hiring practices, why don’t they just quit and go somewhere else where things might end up being a shade lighter ,more to their liking.Maybe that’s what the company wants, get rid of these good old boys . They are not going to change their policies because some of you guys of the Caucasian persuasion don’t agree with it . Just quit already . Now I see why we don’t an industry leading contract. These guys are concerned about someone of color or a different ethnicity getting a job instead of the important issues. As a relatively new guy ,I didn’t expect this at UA.I thought you guys were above all of this, boy was I wrong. Needless to say I’m disappointed." I just had a good reminder why I quit reading this forum and responding to (most of) the people on here. Aside from the horrible syntax, punctuation, and grammar, this person's attack reads like a high school sophomore's retaliation on social media. Wow. I guess their handle "OFFCOURSE" is appropriate. Good luck, y'all. - Octa

What ? Really ? 8 or 9 guys in my new hire guys recieved extra initial sims . None were a minority. Not saying it can’t or won’t happen but you think minorities are the only ones getting extra sims or a little extra help to get through training?? Are you for real ?
Im willing to bet my life that somewhere in your career you received an extra sim session or extra
prep for an oral or something. Most of us have .
Now if someone of a different color does it they aren’t good enough? Not qualified ??
UNBELIEVABLE
I know a couple of guys at my former regional who failed upgrade at least once .Guess what ? Neither one is a minority AND they both here now
flying with you in the right seat .

Way to draw your own conclusions though.
And no, through 30+ years of aviation both mil and civ I’ve never once failed a check ride or needed a repeat of a ride. A maneuver or event within a ride, sure.

I don't see anyone "through race and gender."
Take another look. I am quoting another forum poster for the moderator to observe. That's why I encased their comments with quotation marks and pasted them in italics. Those are the sentiments of the person I am quoting, who posts under the pseudonym OFFCOURSE.

Oh my gosh, you're right 🤦🏻♂️. Well I might as well join in. i hate it when I lazily close a thread because I don't want to hand out 50 infractions. It's not fair to the others 😕.
I should have stuck to snack basketry- which I hear we will be getting in economy class👍👍
