How about the US passes a rule that if your country doesn’t allow our 67 year old pilots to fly there, then they can not operate to the US? That’s the bread and butter for a lot of overseas carriers. Just an idea.

No, we really aren’t. But the selfish pricks all tell themselves this rather than try and be better.

Really? They've been planning to? Where have you seen that?

Because every time someone confidently declares ICAO will do whatever the U.S. wants, it's never rooted in any sort of fact or precedent. In fact, when they raised theirs to 65, the U.S. actually opposed it. History has shown that they won't make such a change without some extensive study on the topic, unlike our own dysfunctional government. So I'm just wondering where you get these facts from.

The cognitive impairments of an older person is definitely noticeable to all sim instructors.
( ask your buddies in the training center )

Age 65 is a great time to hang up this career.
The very same thing was said at 60 before the change to 65.

I’d take age 70 over more democrats ruining the economy.

Irony at its best.

Total consumer debt (i.e. credit card debt) exceeds total savings in the USA. (Per CNBC)

It’s all clear to me now! They want age 67 just about the time we start SFO-Manila service. I can see how having multiple families to support could get expensive, especially when (not if) the gal pals want to import their whole clan to the states…..
