Thank you.

Firm orders for 150 787 with deliveries by 2032. (I will be SHOCKED if Boeing can deliver all on time) Some are growth some are 767 replacements. But every 767 replaced with a 787 means those staffing positions will get max pay scale vs 767 pay.

I simply looked at the Jr man report from our last vacancy on Flying Together then went to the SLI to find it. No post merger pilot is close to WB CA so it was the quickest way I could think of.

23 787s should arrive by then if Boeing does not screw up again

150 787s from 9/2024 ( small delay there , thanks Boeing ) to 5/2032 firm orders unless some drastic happens
Does anyone know the metrics in correlation to number of captain slots added per plane delivered?

we have
752 787 captains and 1481 first officers for 71 787s
that includes management pilots , instructors etc

so 25 per plane flying is a good guess
10 captains and 15 FOs my best guess per aircraft

we have 71 787s
752 captains and 1451 FOs

so if you take out management and instructors
my best guess 10 captains and 15 FOs per aircraft

Yes, I do but just wanted to get more details. I guess I’ve seen too much disappointment in this industry and wanted more concrete information.

Appreciate the replies!

Interesting not really any WB on this vacancy. For a new hire wanting to get into the WB flying ASAP, how long until one could reasonably expect to hold 777/787 anywhere in the system?
