If the Company thinks we’re over staffed by 500, chances are we will be understaffed by 500 come Summer.

agree. Also, I think the 737’s deliveries will pick up quicker than we think. I bet the hiring numbers will adjust first or second quarter of 25.

I def thought it was a good sign to hear they kept the line shut down longer than necessary to try and fix QC problems. Hopefully the culture over at Boeing is changing.

Did you get the Hogan after your M&G? I did a M&G several months ago and was told my app was going to be pushed from CP office with a recommendation and I should hear back "shortly"...never did.

Anyone in TK who can back up this rumor? I've heard other whiffs of it around other places too that the #s are going to be less than 956, but curious if there is any more info about this.

I've also read some rumors about AA and DAL scaling back their numbers too on other forums.

I attended almost every convention in 24. Told every time “this should push you to smaller pool”.

What is several? 3, 6, 9? Your idea of shortly may not be the same as the current hiring environment.

Similarly, those smaller pools likely are filled with a lot of experienced applicants due to the landscape right now. Just a guess. Really hard to tell right now - how many in the pool, how many will be hired, etc. You could be one of the very experienced for all I know.

I don’t think the companies knows what to expect from Boeing and Airbus. Especially Boeing, if they bounce back from the strike faster than expected, if the Airbus leases are retrofit quicker etc hiring can be more. I think we are erring on the side of caution. Previously we wanted to hire 2000 this year, so the desire is there if the aircraft are delivered.

I have family in middle management at Boeing HQ, who said over the holidays that they won’t make a ton of progress in 2025 and will start pretty slow. 2026 is the target for things becoming somewhat normal for Boeing again.

i think by middle of the year we will have a good idea how airlines think Boeing is doing for their 2026 projections. If things go to plan by middle of 2025, interviews request will go up and we will start to see them planning on taking a lot more airframes.

2025 CJO’s it seams like have already been awarded. So for people on the outside looking in should target 2026 and pray Boeing continues to make forward progress in 2025 and a full comeback by end of 2026…

I know I’m just some dude on the internet but this is my/his honest perspective from close family leading a team at Boeing…
