Any idea how competitive I’d be with 4000 TT, 1200 TPIC and a 737 type? Been to 9 career fairs but haven’t ever heard anything, just the ‘keep doing what you’re doing’ am I almost to the part where the resume gets put into a smaller stack instead of the dumpster?

Sounds pretty low, keep doing what you are doing. Although, if the other things (# of graduate degrees, where they are from, other business, etc.) are impressive, it may be sooner than later.

2025 hiring is pretty tight amongst the legacies. United has already extended CJOs until spring 2026 so this year is probably not going to happen unless there's a sizable amount of unexpected aircraft deliveries. United is putting out 1600TPIC to go over from Aviate. Unless you're a special case (currently at a competitor/ALPA distressed carrier/Fedex etc.) I'd probably consider 1600hrs UAL's new minimum given todays hiring environment.

These numbers are mainly due to the massive amount of Spiriit and Frontier pilots.
So for now its back to the norm minus the covid craziness.

Over qualified my last 4 FO's on 737 had zero PIC and were flight instructors.

the destination is an illusion. There is only the path
seriously, the smaller stack changes every time they make a stack. Too many things change. Everything i can see points to the hiring for 2025 classes being finished and new cjo’s going to the traditional poster children (military, mid-career captains)
the well of spirit pilots could easily run dry about the time boeing gets its act together and things will get hot again a year from now
