Hang in there.

Most of the future 2026 hires haven’t been invited to interview yet.

Probably none of the 2026 hires have been interviewed yet. They are trying to get the class dates filled 2 months out. So Probably the October interviews at the earliest will be the early 2026 class dates. Right now they are trying to fill October to December class dates.

I interview this month and if (hopefully) successful, I would imagine a December class date is likely based on what others have said

Well that leaves me hopeful! There are quite a few friends of mine getting interviews under 3000 TT right now. It's like a flip was switched two weeks ago. Wonder what changed. Hopeful I will have my chance in 2026.

what changed was the aircraft delivery schedule. Lots of stuff moved up.

For what you fear to happen, they’d need to interview ~ 30 applicants per day for the rest of 2025. Five waves of six applicants at 2hrs interview per applicant, 10hrs in the interview room per day alone. That’s not super realistic. Allegedly the goal is to shorten to interview/CJO to indoc date to 8 weeks.

Get your app reviewed, update it every 2-3 weeks and hit every job fair you can. I know someone who just go the Hogan with no 121 PIC time and low TT. It took 2-3 Job fairs a CPO meet and greet. Lots of effort but it paid off for them.

I'll echo this. People I know at Spirit are getting the email within a week or two of applying. This includes FOs with decent TT but no PIC. At the interview we were told a target of 60-90 days interview to class. I interviewed 8/12 and did the drug test today.

I've done 5 LORs for NK pilots in the past month. 3 have an interview date, 1 (FO) hasn't heard anything, 1 submitted yesterday. I think things are moving fast.
(don't think they got the interview because my superior writing skills, that's just the peeps I know about)

I’m an LCC FO with over 3,000 TT. I have lots of current volunteer experience, a CP recommendation, I’ve attended multiple hiring conventions this year, 5 internal LOR, yet no bite from United.

I self-reported a few checkride failures from
about 15 years ago in the military. No 121 failures.

wondering if anyone has insight on United’s tolerance for Check ride failures?

my guess is you will have to wait until all the people with no checkride failures have been interviewed…..it’s back to a sellers market for the airlines.

passing a type ride and getting some CA time under your belt would probably be a great idea.
