DEI hiring taps a known pipeline that has proven results. Most DEI hires and college admissions far exceed the average.

Giving someone consideration because a (attribute that has nothing to do with piloting an airplane) is the right and moral thing to do.

The parents are assets of the organization, there is a direct like between a candidate and someone already at the organization. It's a benefit to the employees that have given years of their lives to an organization.

Your argument about dei giving higher qualified candidates is wrong. That's the problem people have with it.

Again, you are saying that a pilot should be hired because of something other than pilot qualifications. You don't get to pick and choose which non-pilot attributes merit a job offer.

Kirby’s so short he doesn’t even have to get on his knees. I hope that wig was washed thoroughly before his photo op with bystanders.

"higher qualified candidates" in your opinion means "My daddy is a check airman."

Do you not see how your line of thinking leads to very exclusive groups, the kind that only those who know someone can get in? Kind of like how airlines have been for the last 100 years.

Design, programming....not just flying. That was DEI software sending the nose down. This software was conceived in the first place because of known poor flight skills. They idea is that anyone from a low-IQ society can be hired to pilot their aircraft cheaply, with the software saving the day. Unfortunately, 2 planeloads of pax got killed when the flight skill was needed. Airbus has been ahead of Boeing on that for a while, but they are arguably less wild with their outsourcing.

Do you even hear yourself? Exactly what is a 'low-IQ society'?

I love that that westcoaster59 can't even form a coherent sentence given the context of the post. Some people's pointy white caps are showing.

So you want 50% women pilots?

Do you also want 50% women septic tank cleaners?

Serious question.
