Yes, all part of the new contract - - single pilot on the 737, but think of the cash with Captain and FO pay for every leg!!!!

Actually just shows that during that first year the folks that got the Captain assignment in new hire have two assignments for vacancy bidding. They can bid for laterals as an FO and as a Capt. That way you might get to your desired location for the assignment as both an FO now and maybe even as a Cap in the future, but at least you don't have to wait as an FO in your original assigned location if your seniority can hold FO elsewhere

It's sorta helpful

As pointed out the Junior EWR CA & FO are the same person because the new contract allows simultaneously holding an FO and CA slot when not yet eligible for upgrade.

Assuming (big assumption) no drastic changes in 737 deliveries, CA looks to be very junior fleetwide. Essentially nowhere you can't hold once you're actually a captain. 320 is not that way.

Are new hires getting captain year 1 pay while they are building the 500/350 as an FO?

Awesome info thanks. Any chance you have the same data for 320. Wondering how long to DEN or IAH 320 CA.
