Default Always an outsider or two looking in...

Personal/Environmental/Technical threats? Always
UAS? Perhaps.
Errors? Repaired.
Threats? Prepped for-as indicated by an uneventful second attempt.

OUR system works. This video is proof. Anything else is speculation.

That is not the case at AA. Captain and F/O switch every other leg. FB and/or FC never get a landing. As a captain I had a lot more landings than the F/Os I flew with because they with switch to a B or C position often. A lot of them played the non current game so they have trips dropped to go to landings sim.

I think Delta is the exception, AA's system is more similar to UA's. No idea what Hawaiian or JB does. They're the only other two that fly augmented pax that I know of.

So at Delta FOs show up to trips not know whether they will be FO or IRO? Just wondering how their system works.

The Captain assigns seat positions and landings. There are no relief lines.

I would think that makes it more difficult to not know ahead of time when you will likely rest. Do you find that to be an issue?
