The majority of the flying public DOES care what we look like. We should care what we look like. If you can’t dress yourself, look sloppy, people start wondering how in the world you can fly an airplane. Spare us the “but appearance doesn’t make me safe” argument. We signed up for both.

I was able to find what I think was some competition for the SFO 777 FO and his man bun last week. A 75 CA that took me out to SFO last week from EWR. This dude who was great doing his PAs and got us in 30 mins early, had the nastiest mullet. He seriously looked like his hair hadn't been washed in weeks. C'mon people have a lil pride in your appearance.
