The -10 can only do 3,100 NM range?

Please someone tell me this is a joke
It doesn't need crazy range, UAL wants the Max 10 for a Domestic Premium Service product. They will have lie flats and will be used on Trans-cons. Think EWR/JFK/IAD - SFO/LAX

sure, but it’s still a single aisle 737 (versus 76, 330/350/777). Also likely louder.

Not personally a MAX fan myself, but I will say it's pretty quiet inside, especially in the first 5 or so rows.... noticably quieter than an NG or CEO airbus. I wonder if it'll be nicer than the coffin lie flat on the old 777s.

Okay…. And….

United is not the only airline rolling out lie flat products on narrow bodies and will not be the last to offer a premium service domestic product…

Also 757/767 aren’t quiet jets neither…. The Max also isn’t loud airplane unlike the NGs….

But not LAX-DCA because United does not fly that, for some reason…

United bid for a second daily SFO-DCA instead of adding LAX-DCA. I guess those customers can go fly Delta or American or Alaska…

If this isn't sarcasm, one stop connections through our major hub to the Far East combined with uncontested O&D traffic are both much more valuable $$$ than competing with three other carriers on a route...

All the the Silicon Valley lobbyists and political influencers not rich enough to hop their own jet need a way back and forth. These SFO-DCA flights literally connect the center of tech money to the center of power in the US.
