From my understanding, Pierce tried to block the filing. Why?

Alpa agrees there is necessary evidence that the tpa was violated. Now the process moves forward.

If it was the other way around your guy would have done the same to get your guys money too, Imagine if a Cal guy got profit sharing and a UAL guy didn't.... he settled a airplane grievance in one shot and secured profit sharing at the same time, to bad so sad.... And if it was the other way around Heppner would have been stamping his feet and tossing a media tantrum.... Call Pierce, ask him, go on, Give him a call..... Don't just sit here and throw crap out.. Get your answer and share it with us....Man up and do it, Want the number?

You have confirmed my belief of the CAL "all about me philosophy." It has a quite similar ring that I have heard emanating from our special 85' hires. I trust/hope it is not pervasive throughout the entire pilot rank at sCAL.

Can you imagine if Cal guys got more pay for flying the same aircraft? Can you imagine if Ual had better rsv work rules than Cal? It's called a contract. Profit sharing was in Ual's contract. Profit sharing was not in Cal's contract. The grievance settlement will reflect this fact.

Easy labeling there. I could say the reason the contract passed was because of "all those UAL guys afraid of what will happen if it doesn't." Call that all about me wouldn't you? Does this confirm that all of UAL is this way too? No it doesn't. The more you look at the two pilot groups the more they seem the same to me.

You don't stand to get ANYTHING in the way of increased profit sharing if you win. The company has said that IF the money was NOT given to CAL pilots, that it would be returned to the company and NOT distributed among the other employee groups.

I believe CAL pilots gave in on some legal disputes with the company to receive said profit sharing. I don't agree with that either, but that is how it came down.

So I guess all you want is for me to return the profit sharing to the company. Would that make you feel better?

Good luck with that.

Well, if that is what the company said..... I guess the case is closed.

Notice my last sentence. In some ways we might be alike, in others, I'm afraid not.
