Im just an applicant on the outside looking in, but heard through a buddy of mine that there would be a big announcement on the 19th and hiring would resume at that point (I assume it would be something JCBA related that would drive the hiring announcement).

Standard practice. They are in session the entire BOD. They meet every day until the BOD starts and then every morning and evening. If the TA comes out they will likely stay in Florida in session for review.
