If you look at past ISL proposals, both sides were polar opposites... Bottom line, each side SHOULD do the best for their group.

Not sure, using term like " enemy" is helpful, once this process is behind us. Who knows, I maybe throwing your gear or vice versa going forward and enemies we will no be....
You should talk to Ben Salley - he declared war on the UAL pilots.

I assure you all, except Staller, that my message was not a declaration of war. And I legally made sure that nothing would be done to influence the process we are currently going through. If a war is to be fought, trust me it won't be on this board and it started a long time ago. My message was directed at my council.

Now consider this, All council's have put out com that was offensive to the other side, but no United council has a couple hundred C-hires to regard it, as part of that UAL council; in IAH, we are in unchartered-territory. I make no redaction or apology for my message, but do apologize, specifically, to the vast majority of U-hires who bring a great attitude to Houston, who I did not mention.

Anyone who thinks that an LC message or forum post is going to make a difference in this process is fooling themselves.

To the vast majority of you here for entertainment purposes, banter and goodwill, continue to do what you are doing. For those who want to fight, you've missed the LZ. The fight started 3 years ago, and all that's left is p!$s and vinegar. My hope is that once the dust settles, we can put it together and make up for the time we've squandered.

Frats,

Ben

Would it be possible to summarize what the CAL/UAL SLI points are?

I have sifted through the other threads, and without seeing the lists and comparing status it's hard to get an overall grasp on the issues.

For example,

Are there going to be fences, and if so which aircraft, how long etc?

Are the new hires coming on the CAL list right now removed from all of this because they are post "snapshot" when the merger occurred?

How will the UAL pilots on the CAL list reintegrate once the SLI happens?

I understand some of the process is very contentious so I'd like to avoid a ****ing match if possible, I am just trying to get a sense of the overall situation. Thanks

Easy to say but you just had 13n144e come on the forum threatening the UAL pilots. (he edited out the threat-Thanks) Are you sure your "blast mail" didn't have something to do with his new found rage.

I wish I had that kinda power. I think you would too.

Guys:

Don't put yourselves or your job in jeopardy by this process. Being someone who has had to start over 3 times, trust me, it's not worth it. Whatever the outcome might be, you should be better by 600 numbers this time next year.

When are you going to post your "blast mail" if it not that damning?

Just CLARIFYING what I actually posted. I said somewhere between the 2 lists, NOT half way, just somewhere.

You need to read what is written, not what you think I said or what you think I might mean.

UAL guys should take time to read what guys actually write before shooting from the hip. I said nothing about meeting in the middle, you made that up.
