My 2 cents worth.
No one knows what the arbitrators will do, maybe we will have a better feeling after the next round of negotiations.
Having read ll the material put out by both side, here is my prediction, like it or not.
Based on the arbitrator's instructions at the end of the last meeting, the awarded result will lie somewhere between the 2 proposed lists.
The arbitrators seemed interested in the program used by the UAL side. I think they might want to use it to run some scenarios of there own.
I think the answer will be to remove UAL and possibly CAL furloughs from the lists and rerun the UAL program.
Sorry to all the furloughs, just my opinion, and in this case, really doesn't mean much.

The UAL proposal is in the middle. Its almost exactly relative seniority + or - 5%.

My 1 cent worth:
There are only 2 camps here; Camp DOH and Camp Opinion.
For the life of me I can't figure out why the majority choose/chose to join Camp Opinion. But it is what it is and I'll just have to live with it. I must be getting old.
Just one piece of advice to all you Camp Opinion people; try to keep the scars to a minimum and oh if you get tired of it, come on over to Camp DOH, throw in a line, grab a beer and relax.
Graybeard.

Fascinating indeed the absolutely neurotic concern over this outcome is widely held by mostly LUAL pilots. (Well....the 10 or so who frequent this site anyway). It's very difficult to shut down the subconscious thought process...Yes? A very telling indicator of the concern of the LUAL position. Only in my opinion of course.

Not sure, using term like " enemy" is helpful, once this process is behind us. Who knows, I maybe throwing your gear or vice versa going forward and enemies we will no be....

The UALPA SLI proposal did not STAPLE 1/3 of the CAL list to the bottom. Instead, it actually used the tenents of Merger Policy. It should come as no surprise to Hoss, or any UAL pilot that CALPA's proposal was so out of wack. I mean, look at how the negotiations went. Profit sharing. Retro. It's just that scab-like mentality. But we shoved that contract down your throats with our numbers. Hopefully, we will hit a homerun with the SLI as well, since your proposal was so foul.

Honest question to you and all the CAL MEC conspiracy types, how much blame does Jeffery get for the fact our JCBA was three years late? I FAIL to accept that anything would have happened faster if there was no PS, W2, or Online Training spat. We only got a JCBA from this management because Richard Anderson boned Jeff's DAL+1 gospel. Any other attempts to assign blame are a best speculative and at worst indicative of narrow minded individuals who are quick to blather out the words "scab-like mentality."
