Here's the part of the letter regarding the pool and hiring plans:
The list of upcoming class dates given is I think same as what we have been expecting (4 in July, 2 in August), and the same info regarding furloughees possibly returning, and all newhires can expect EWR 76T, 320 and 737.
The comment about the last 72 hours is encouraging, I think. Wonder what changed? New sim availability?
So, here is the latest. As of tonight, there are 121 of you left in our Pool. We have filled the June 3rd class and will be making offers for the June 17th class in the very near future.
The good news is that our hiring projections for the coming few months have changed fairly dramatically in the last 72 hours. If the projections hold true, every one of you will be offered a class date for sometime in July or August. We are confident enough in these predictions that we have decided to resume interviewing for a brief period in early June, so that we can welcome new members to the pool as all of you are placed in July and August classes

Well, they're hundreds of training cycles behind in both CA and FO seats ramping up to what will be an epically disastrous summer. They're on version 3.0 of inept TDY shenanigans for June so I guess they just decided to go Full Monty and chuck it all into the blender to see what comes out.

I'm with ya, anxiously awaiting the call since late December. I heard from another source that calls may start going out next week for the June window. Hang in there, maybe I'll see you in DEN for an interview.
