Follow up.
From a reliable source (no, I won't name them), "they" have decided to spin up for a few weeks of interviews to replenish the pool since it is getting "shallow." Exactly how many weeks a few is remains to be determined. Sounds like the target is moving because they need new hires as much as they need to do upgrades.....
At any rate, I would imagine that replenishing the pool with June interviews means they are going to ramp back up bringing on new hires full speed in the fall. Of course that's my interpretation only. My contact didn't comment on that aspect.
He did say, after the June interviews (again, a few weeks) that they would throttle back, resuming interviews again in the fall (no date specified).
Just forwarding info guys/gals. Haven't seen any official update on the subject so standby for more.

Plan according to Hiring Manager as of earlier this week:
"We will conduct interviews during the first 2 weeks of June for September classes and then expect to continue interviewing again starting in September."
The was also discussed in the UAL Pool email update.

Searching for info - poolies
Poolies -
Any lurkers still out there that want to get on the "line-up"? Post or PM me your inteview week and first 2 of you last 4 ssn.
I will put an updated "Poolie News" out on Monday evening.....geeez it's gonna be a long wait until 19 May for the next round of calls.
Also, anyone with access....if you see the projected class sizes for July it would be very helpful, our last poolie email did not give any projections (other than we would all be in training by the end of Aug
).
