That's been my experience too. She was definitely an outlier.

Most definitely. I've never once had the slightest issue before this little darling.

Just FYI according to our lovely little princess who made it a point to molest me with her opinions at least once every 15 minutes. I was supposed to take my ID off when traveling on a "Continental" airplane because they could tell I was a United guy and that makes them mad. Because of me on a scheduled dead head they had to Kick off paying customers, Continental pilots don't do that. I was supposed to help all the passengers put their bags in the overhead before I sat down. Gordon Bethune is friends to this day with all Continental F/A's. Jeff Smisek hangs out with LUAL pilots and considers them friends (seriously). The "United" reservation system is causing problems. Those are just the highlights. But you get the idea.
Say no more.

You had me at "Flight Attendant".

They've got their own axes to grind, from griping about serving our crew meals ("I hope you can get it in your contract too" I said pleasantly) to being miles away from a contract ("yes, that's got to be difficult" I said sympathetically followed by "we'll take our meal after the initial cruise PA, thanks so much.").
My apologies...
Yeah, I've heard the "complaints" about having to serve our crew meals AND snacks, and getting a lie down seat for the break, etc....

I have nothing bad to say about captains from either side. Everyone has been great.

Observations:
Previous CAL talk, a lot, about the size of their paychecks but are also all about teaching you how to max out pay/QOL too. One spent two days teaching me how to max out PBS credit. Haven't had a single beer bought for the half wing pin, lots of slam clicking.

Previous UAL, enthrall to finally be in a left seat. Almost to a fault feel it's their duty to take care of us new guys (thanks!) Try and avoid talking about last 10 years. Don't scratch off the shiny exciting veneer of their new left seat and expose the disappointment/vitriol of last decade.

Actually that is an old time LUAL tradition. Half wingers don't buy many beers never have.

It be cool to get a half winger on the 400, so I could treat... Not likely though.

I did get to meet the eight ball and new hires at the doubletree a few months ago, it was fun to see new hires finally, and an honor to buy a round.

You know, like what a forum is supposed to be for.
I hear you. Just feel that it shouldn't be an issue with anyone. Each side from all employee groups have their 1%ers. I wouldn't make judgement on the whole based on the actions of a few.

My experience has been positive 99% of the time. That is with pilots, fa's, CPO, etc. The others aren't worth my time.
