I have to laugh at the guys who bid to fly it..........then complain about it. You have to be a real pilot to appreciate the 737. Weak pilots are not comfortable with "nuances" of the airplane. I see them squirm when they have to approach a short runway at 160 kts.

Are you talking about the managers that decided to fly a 900ER to Mauii, or the ones that decided regular fuel stops coming back across the Atlantic was Ops Normal in s 757? Or the ones that decided it was better to close the 400 base in ORD, only to reopen it 6 months later?
I would complain less about the 737 if Boeing would, after building 8000+ of them, figure out how to make a toilet seat stay up.

Are you talking about the managers that decided to fly a 900ER to Mauii, or the ones that decided regular fuel stops coming back across the Atlantic was Ops Normal in s 757? Or the ones that decided it was better to close the 400 base in ORD, only to reopen it 6 months later?

Like I said before, if they gave me enough days off and paid me enough, I would fly a C150 forever.
I would, however, still complain. I am a pilot.
After flying the uber Guppy for two years, after the bus for over 7, I will say the NG is more reliable, and/or the CAL side maintains them to an exceptional level. They just don't seem to break.
In my mind, the toilet seat issue overrides the reliability. While the bean counters look to financials, I just like to be able to pee standing up without worrying about something coming crashing down on my private parts. Maybe I should start trimming the aircraft 5 degrees left wing down before I go back for a break........
