I did everything as you described and received a rejection email 16 hours later. Was it because I "failed" somehow? I'll probably never know because the email only said "There are numerous other factors, however, that weigh in to our decision-making. Although we are not in a position to provide you with specific feedback on your performance in our process, we do recognize that changes in experience and qualifications may yield a different result in the future. "
Either way, seems to be an inordinate amount of military pilots not making it past the assessment. Please PM me if you've fallen victim to the Hogan assessment or know someone who has. Thanks.

Here is a sample question from the Hogan. I'm not seeing the problem. Military pilots should ace questions like this.
While trying to catch a commute flight home a co-worker is refusing to process you for the jumpseat claiming that you missed the "20 minute jumpseat check-in window". You should...
a) Ask to speak to the Captain
b) Explain that there isn't a cutoff for the jumpseat
c) Report this to ALPA Jumpseat and her supervisor
d) Call in an airstrike on her location
Seems easy enough.

Don't be so upset about it. Pick yourself up and move on. You will without a doubt be picked up by one of the majors soon - I wish you the best of luck.

Sounds like you are claiming discrimination for either a personality trait you have that they are not looking for, or as mentioned above, you may need more/other experience to be competitive (having nothing to do with the Hogan). If it was indeed the Hogan that disqualified you, looks like it did the job for which it is intended - who wants someone like that on their team? I know plenty of military who have passed through the process with no problem at all, and others who did not (and moved on, getting picked up by Delta, American, or Southwest).

Thanks for the wishes. I'm sure things will turn out fine.

I didn't intend to come off as negative, or insinuate United has it out for Military guys, so apologies. I've only heard of ten or so military guys who didn't get past that step and know nothing of how others are fairing. I assume it's probably the same ratio, but I don't know. Personally, I think it's worth a little investigating to see if there's some correlation or trend that may help others get to the interview step.

Hey guys...
So I got the "Hogan Email" along with the United Invitation email Friday and completed the test around 5pm Friday afternoon. I know most people get a response within 24-36 hours but I'm assuming I will have to wait until at least tomorrow to hear anything. Has anyone completed it over a weekend and if so could you share your results timeline?
