This is a business. It isn't the military, and they don't care if you're honorable or not. I prefer honesty personally when it comes to life, but knowing who you're dealing with and their perspective makes all the difference. We are a cost line on a spreadsheet to United airlines. Follow the contract, enforce and move on. This is a business transaction. The second that anyone hopes for more they've lost. United (read as any large business) just doesn't care. Modern merica. Warts and all.

These same DEN guys bi$@$ about being on reserve for 17 years. Well, sorry guys, that's the facts about staying in DEN. You'd be 20% in EWR. If you'd go somewhere else like everybody else you'd be doing a lot better. Stop complaining.
Based on my look the junior ORD 73 FO line holder is 2013 hire. I'm mid '13 hire and 40 numbers junior.
Stop worrying about that stuff and just get hired. It's gonna get better fast. It might (probably) suck for a bit. Why are guys/gals trying to get hired so picky? "I want to get hired but only if I can get ORD lines quickly." Really? Fine. Stay at your regional.

Hence our long term "home" at the bottom of every airline quality ranking and operational metric.

Where do you live? Remember you can commute on anyone. FedEx can be a life saver and the lowest stress commute if you don't mind flying over night. Most of the airplanes that don't have lie flat seats have a futon, or just bring a snuggie and an inflatable mattress. Seriously.
