The jumpseat is a privilege not a right. That is why you ask the captain if you can occupy the jumpseat vs slamming down the card and proclaiming "I have to sit up here."

I well remember the guppy killer stickers. No one with that sticker is going to be riding on the jump seat if I'm on board.
You guys need to learn how to quote a post......

And WTH does that poorly quoted post of mine from 6+ years ago have to do with ANYTHING in this thread?

BTW

The "guppy" we were referring to back then was the 300/500 which were great little performers if not overly comfortable on the flight deck. A far cry from the cripple 7 wiener dog 900.

We know that the 757/767 and Fifi were glass airplanes.

The 737-300 was a half- glassed airplane.

737-300's came in both flavors. Analog engine gauges, and glass. We had both. Shuttle was all glass.

That's the only one I've flown (the last if I'm lucky), and it was called Thunder Guppy.

Although, I'm really liking the sound of Cripple-7 for all the post Yuppie-Guppies.

So what's the big glass thingy? Does it replace reading glasses for the old guys that can hold Capt on it?

Just kidding, just kidding...
