To use your preferred, name-calling form of communication, yes, I have submitted the questions - not to you because you're just an online douche, I submitted them to the EB.

I'm glad you're so incredibly excited about the TA, I wish I was in your shoes, I sincerely do. As I mentioned earlier I'll probably vote yes and that's simply because I have respect for our EB, it's right there in my initial post.
Having said that, YES I'm very disappointed about certain aspects of the TA, feel that we should've taken care of people on long term medical better. The fact those who supported junior pilots in the past now won't get any retro/bonus since they've just retired is very bothersome too. There are also other issues I'm less than happy about but I realize no contract can ever be perfect.
However, when it comes to scabs - the survey was idiotic!!! We shouldn't have been forced to pick a percentage of significance to such a critical issue. Period! Remember, the 'total' had to equal 100%
It's a cancer that needs to go and all we did is put bandaid on the surface of the skin. ..but hey, at least we won't be able to support CGN airport workers anymore so managers won't have to cross their picket lines anymore (HUGE gain - for them) - instead we will be doing that.

Please tell me your plan to get rid of the NURPS and tell ups how to manage their airline...stomping your feet and holding your breath doesn't work...
This TA starts (yes only starts) to put limits on their use and will cause ups in the future to cost benefit analyze the whole NURP structure.
As far as hiring new NURPS, I really don't care as long as the flying keeps coming to the IPA. Maybe they bought some more magazine subscriptions and anticipate more organizing in the future.

So did you go to the roadshow, read the FAQs or call the EB to get your questions answered? If not why aren't you trying harder to get your questions answered???? You can call me anything you want but just answer the question? You have concerns...get the answers. Just saying....
Nope haven't read the FAQs, slides, TA, or watched the videos, I'm just pulling things out of my arse.
I can call you anything I want? Where'd I call you anything? I said cheerleading. That is a verb. Cheerleader would've been name calling.
Why call the EB? They said they'd answer the questions in the order they were received. I assume that's still true. Or should I pout and call and say me first? Also, I don't want the EB to answer my questions. They are about language in the contract and I want UPS/IPA to answer jointly as opposed to, "this is what I think."

Once again you cherry pick parts of a reply and resort to personal attacks simply for having reservations about the TA.

"Whale, I don't recall anyone saying it was a great or industry leading contract. Certain aspects certainly are and have been pointed out....". That's cherry picking?
Rather be a douche than a retard.

Yes, you cherry picked the reservations I have about the TA and disregarded the fact I said I'll probably vote for it despite my disappointment with certain aspects of the agreement.
..and when I responded to you I highlighted the disgusting practice of yours of calling people names any time they don't agree with you. Something you've been doing pretty non-stop since you joined IPA. Apparently I reminded you of a fat guy sitting on a couch simply because I have a different perspective than you do. You truly are a despicable human being and I'm ashamed you're in our union.

[QUOTE=Pilot7576;2162451]Whalesurfer,
Please tell me your plan to get rid of the NURPS and tell ups how to manage their airline.
I always wondered why the IPA and Trent have never gone through the Courts on this subject. The Card drive was a joke. The way to fix this problem is to go to a Labor Court in D.C. Present one's briefs, and let the Labor Court Judge decide once and for all. But the IPA is too scared to this? Why? It's not like we have changed anything in 20 years on this.
Our Side:
Closed shop. They are doing IPA's work. They are not managers. They cannot Hire or Discipline. During the Furlough they were flying IPA's flights, etc.
Let UPS file there Briefs. And the IPA will file ours. And 6 months later the Labor Judge will make his findings known. Simple and clean.
Why the IPA will not go through the Courts to face this Cancer is head scratching.
If we lose, so what. We still have our CBA which limits the NURPS.

You certainly turned out to be a real team player, didn't you? Fairly new at ups and already infamous for stifling any and all dissent.

I'll review my posting history but I don't recall having a habit of name calling. I apologize in advance if I was doing it without noticing.

Reserves can not be reschedule into days off under the current TA. They can be given an assignment into 1 day off under very strict circumstances.
Lighten up Francis. Don't get all backed up about my longevity at UPS question. Others you are speaking to have dealt with this mess longer than you is all. As far as 2 decades in the biz, the majority here have that or more also with multiple airlines/legacies. You're not special.

On the reserve issue, as a line holder they can reschedule me for as long into my days off as they want, right? So with reserves, they aren't rescheduled but reassigned new trips and those new trips cannot, currently, go into days off. Is that the idea?

Commando,
Totally agree with your NURP idea.
Whalesurfer,
Wasted an hour and, overlooking yesterday, didn't find a history of name calling. I did see lots of calling out bs and arguing-I'll try to chill a little bit. Still feeling kind of bad I offended ya brother..
