My application was "active" since last summer. Then went to "on file" in November. Updated the 2017 application and I am "active" again. Not sure it means much of anything. Or maybe it is a competitive application pool and each time someone with more qualifications puts in an application you move down. Just like the other pool.

Once you pass the Hogan, how long is the usual wait time before you get a call to set up the interview?

For me it was a matter of days, but that could also be contingent on when they interview dates open.

Gentlemen...

The silly question of the day:

Is the preferred choice of comm from UPS for setting up the Hogan and potential interviews done by phone, or email? And.... will they leave a message if you happen to miss the call?

Thanks for your input guys.

Definitely phone. Answer anything from a 502 area code. I'm not sure if they call you about taking the Hogan (for me they didn't, I was told at the job fair it would show up in an email).

If you pass and they want to interview you... next comes the phone call. Email will show up confirming interview details.

Yes they will leave messages.

Good luck.

It was a while ago but I waited about 4 months. Guys and gals in my class were scattered across the board. My hogan invite came within a week of submitting my app and came from an email from equifax.
I got the pool letter via email a week after my interview but it was dated a day or two after my interview. I waited 5 months from interview to class but some of that time was was over peak and the other months didn't have classes - I got into the next class after my interview. One guy applied, interviewed, and got a pool letter all within about a month and a half before our class date. There doesn't seem to be any consistency for anyone.

Wait, equifax? Does this mean people need to be checking every junk email they get just in case it's actually from UPS?

Are you kidding? The honest answer is yes. I do it every day, for months.
