Even with wealth of information on this forum, I'm still unclear about the application process. I have not received an email to reapply and my app still shows "on file". Does anyone have insight on whether I should complete an additional application under the same account since it is now 2017, or is the current "on file" sufficient?

In the past I've heard the apps were flushed and everyone not yet interviewed must reapply, but this year seems a bit different....

Yes, absolutely reapply for 2017.

I have multiple apps in for the last few years. All but Flight Qual Sup display "On File". I just updated 2017 FO app and after submission, it displayed "not selected for further testing at this time" and reverted to "on file". I feel myself rather diverse and qualified, even taking a cargo heavy job to gain some experience. Should I just hit a job fair (which I plan on doing)? I really want to end up here.

Thanks for any advice/input.

I never got any email asking me to reapply - I guess they don't like me that much. But I reapplied anyway. I was glad to see the my "Active" status from last years application must have carried forward to this years (it is "Active" as well).

FQS shows "Active".

I wish I had "The Formula" for the how/when/why of airline hiring. I probably wouldn't need to work again!

Does anyone know if you only get one shot to create an app from scratch, i.e. have to complete it in one sitting? Or if I only get half of it done, can I go back the next day to finish it off?

From my experience, it just sits as "incomplete". However, once you click "submit", it's up to fate, karma, the gods of Olympus as to what status it goes to after that.

I'm trying to update the app with my international address. The phone number of course isn't the typical US format that appears to be the only allowed entry. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get my current phone number and current employer number into this app?

I applied today for the first time. I meet all the qualifications and then some and immediately got the on file status. Is that normal? Its a pretty simple app with not much variance to distinguish candidates.
