Illogical and hypocritical.
Obviously, you're taking sides yourself or you wouldn't have such strong feelings against USAPA as the only reason to dislike them is related to their decisions and actions since becoming a recognized bargaining representative not that long ago or was it because it was your mule they seduced ?
Personally, I didn't care how this fracas was resolved and whether they used the Nic or didn't use the Nic, so I'm not taking sides in that respect, just pointing out the realities of what they are. The latest reality does directly affect those at AA as now USAPA has expanded their lunacy directly toward AA pilots.

I know that you know the ALPA merger policy was in part due to usair and part UAL. In fact your Kim Snider was directly involved in memory serves me correctly. There is rich history of us east doing that which benefits them the most and be damned everyone else. The east screams DOH but when one group WITHIN usair east claims they are due DOH if this is your new policy the original easties say no way its slotting. The east talks out of both sides of their necks depending on which benefits them the most at the time and expense of others.

Night Hawk, I understand you have a beef with APA because you did not feel they took care of furloughees adequately. Fair enough, but the decade of 2000 was entirely and wildly different from previous decades. Thank Osama and crew for much of it. It was a decade of retrenchment and bankruptcies industry wide.
There will be no "Big ass APA staple gun." No one wants anything except an SLI integration that will leave everyone a little hacked. That would be indicative of one that's reasonably fair. If anyone is ecstatic afterwards, something's wrong.

Please explain and use examples.

''It is with great reluctance but a response is necessary here. The trials and tribulations faced by members of the airline pilot profession do not begin or end with your seeming unrelenting phobia. The history of our profession includes internal and external battles that have taken many pilots to the end of their career at the hands of their fellow aviators. If you read the history of the formation of APA, both sides, you will see how politics combined with tempers and management manipulation were the foundation for APA, an event that many will debate as the most serious setback to pilot unity in history. Look at the pilots whose careers were destroyed by Lorenzo with the help of self serving pilots. Look at the thousands of Braniff pilots whose careers ended because their fellow aviators would not abide by the ALPA agreement giving them preferential hiring status. In the history of the airline pilot profession the continuing East vs. West situation will be ranked as a pity party when compared to the travesties pilots have done to one another throughout the eighty plus years of our profession.''
Thanks for trying Night Hawk. I think that it remains to be seen if Parker has been playing APA or if APA has been playing Parker. I am still hopeful that the majority of pilots will have learned from our mistakes but when I read the post here I am disheartened.

They're not listening still
Perhaps they never will . . .''

I'm just enjoying watching the East guys squirm. They are losing a lot more than USAPA. Just wait until you get a good view of the upcoming new and improved APA governing structure. Can you say marginalized? I thought you could.

Ok what is so different?? Prior you had an arbitrator and two pilot neutrals now you just pay 3 times the rate for 3 arbitrators which is basically the same make up. The difference being that there was this feeling of obligation by the neutral to side with the pilot group that picked them regardless of if the position was right or wrong.

Hello "WD at AWA"
Here's a quick reality check. Not just for you but for everyone who reads your intelligent posts.
Do you think that North Central DC9 pilots expected to one day fly Delta 767s?
Do you think New York Air pilots eventually expected to fly United 777s?
My point is this:
Mergers are good and you will do alright. PIPE DOWN and know that you have merged into the world's largest airline with a boatload of wide bodies. Would the "WEST" have expected this on their own? Calm down, relax and see if you can post from here on out in an intelligent manor.
