[QUOTE=Hugh Betcha;1209864]Your point got side-tracked.
Again, I believe your point was hijacked.

Hijacked? You do realize that this thread is 3 1/2 yrs old, 4000 posts, countless subjects? How does someone hijack such a thread? It is the only Spirit thread, as a matter of fact other attempts to start others were resisted. Lighten up dude.

Lets not air our dirty laundry on a public board. See you over on Login
I guess I would be nervous if I was a Junior FO at NK also, any hiccup and your gone,(Spirits MO) but come on man! Dirty Laundry... This happens at countless airlines all the time.
But FWIW I didnt see any delays today while I worked in the system.

I think he was referring to the Bich Board. Which is a lot better than it used to be but many don't frequent. If that is where Lemonade spends most his time it makes sense he has a certain opinion formed of the MEC without the experience.

Yes exactly. Perhaps Lemonade should spend some time talking to guys on the line. He would be well served to keep his ears open and his mouth shut for a while, he might just learn a thing or two.

MYR system was down yesterday. But the agents did everything by hand and we left on time.
Lemonade, The problem with fixing things here at Spirit is that we will all get screwed out of Money. I like the old way when I could pick up JA by calling scheduling. I like when I could make deals to better my pay. I'm hear to work and make money.
I was furloughed for 2.5years and I have no problem that pilots here did OT while I was on furlough but NOW that I'm back I want to do the same and it's getting harder every month with all these new rules.
150% gone, 200% harder to get, deals nonexistent, transition conflicts harder to get. It's seems to me it's not just the company trying to keep us down but our Union to.
On another note go heat and bring on N615NK

I think you're being "hammered" because of your constant, highly opinionated posts....even if you mean no harm.
Where to start.......
This is common practice across the industry. Nothing requires you to answer or have your phone on if you don't want to be disturbed on days off.
A valid grievance??? Seriously? Where did you come from prior to NKS?
This can easily be construed as divisive. What is your agenda here, exactly? Were you even around for the majority of Sean and Andy's term??? How do you know what they did or didn't do for YOU....before you even got here?
Bingo! Not your place to judge....at all. So by "popular opinion" you surely mean a majority of the NKS pilots feel this way, correct? Otherwise, I can't imagine the opinion is as "popular" as you suggest. So, feel free to cite your sources/ statistics to support these claims.
Gonna have to agree w/ others here. If this contract is so "concessionary," perhaps you should've stayed where you were and held out for a position worthy of your efforts? Just saying......
So you feel the need to critique the previous MEC here. One that you, most likely, have very little understanding of the work they performed, be it good or bad. But then in a different breath, you want to take public information and try to lasso it back to a NKS board? Which is it???
Now you're supporting the MEC? Ok, got it.
None of my observations here are meant to be personal.....just pointing out how some may see you as a new-hire know-it-all. Certainly not a position I'd want to be in. So, my guess is that's why CS suggested you close your mouth and open your ears. Use this observation as you see fit.
Where to start.......
Perhaps you are right. It isn't my place to critique work of previous MEC volunteers. I apologize, it wasn't my characterization just popular opinion.
As to doing work that positioned the company to hire me....well all that could mean is a concessionary contract that gave the company money to grow. Is that what you meant? If so, then I hope we do better next time around.
Volunteering? When I am off probation I'll be there.
GO HEAT!
