But you have to realize that the future pilot group size in the mid 600's will still have considerable movement compared to the 2650 pilots at Envoy, 3360 at Skywest, 4460 at ExpressJet, and 3000 at Republic. That's 4.5 to 7.5 times more attrition and hiring than what Compass will need.

For example, Compass will have to lose and hire 10 pilots while others will have to lose and hire 45 to 75 to advance up the seniority list proportionally. Just a different scale, but if the regionals problem is hiring, than having fewer pilots moving you up the list is better.
