Yes, do not get paid to fly during the home study. I've heard of guys getting fired for it. Maybe become a Lyft or Uber driver if you need to make some extra money but definitely don't flight instruct

So looks like interviews are being scheduled 5 weeks out and if you pass the three part computer testing you're pretty much in. Two new a/c per month with a possibility of three per month starting in the spring. Two week home study.

Two questions. Sorry if they've been answered. Is there still a guaranteed interview with Delta for new hires and is the one year training contract still in place?

Ah. I suspect it's a pre 117 relic left over. 117 doesn't even apply to flying not for the 121 carrier. They probably don't want you getting a violation either.

No, especially with the new AA flying...there's no LOA for it either, solely a word of mouth deal

What's your crew scheduling/tracking department like? Do they tend to work with you or against you, for example do they let you drop turns or will they try and use the full force of the contract against you just to be a pain in the butt....like they do at most regionals!!
