have you guys experienced many contract violations stemming from being a TSHulas operation vs. NWA/DAL ownership? Scheduling conflicts, pay discrepancies, etc.? Any successful conflict resolutions?

I've never really had a problem and they're usually pretty happy to try and work with you, but the next 18 months are going to be a wild ride and staffing is going to be tight. I wouldn't expect any favors until 2016.

What's happening in the next 18 months? I try and keep current with the thread but didn't catch that one.

Around 200 pilots leaving compass while gaining 20 more aircraft, which means we will have to hire around 400 pilots 8th that 18 month time period. That is all that is happening.

Yes, LAX is still junior for now. Good luck on the interview.

Do you guys think that someone on property by Jan/Feb 2015 will still be looking at a quick upgrade?

Yes! The big hiring only starts at Compass in November. 10 per week.
First half of 2015 is really pretty as I see it. Everybody forgets that Compass will have normal attrition too! After the Delta flow, pilots wont stay at CP... they'll be looking to move on just like every other regional. Most pilots at Compass have previous 121 experience already - they have the time and experience to move on to majors with some PIC time.
There is also a guaranteed interview with Delta. There will be a ton of movement for a long time.

I think it's getting close to the end of the quick upgrade. 150 flows left and the AA planes require about 110 captains.

So 260 captains needed. We have approximately 220 FO's as of last bid packet. So only 40 people hired will actually be needed to staff the captains seats. I think more than 40 are slated for class between now and January.

That doesn't account for any other attrition.

So you would most likely upgrade from attrition rather than growth. That could be "fast" or it might not. I think we'll have decent attrition after the flow ends, but that is my opinion.
