I felt that way at first and I've heard it from others. What changed is setting the headband so that it barely rests on top of your head. It feels weird at first, like nothing is keeping the headset on your head, but that's the way it's supposed to work and it feels amazing.

850 equipped as well...good set for the price, biggest regrets, no Bluetooth hookup and wish had little more noise canceling with the 170/175 flight deck. #1 thing to remember that I have heard from guys retiring from majors is buy something that will save your hearing, you have a long career ahead, spend the extra money for a good headset...

The clarity aloft is really nice. Mine broke twice though and I never sent it back the 2nd time. I just use the DCs in the airplane at Envoy.

Better decision, Bose A20 or Bose QC15 with the mike boom hookup and $500 extra in my pocket?

$500 in your pocket today but an extra $3,000 out of pocket when you retire because you can't hear and need a hearing aid.

I have the DC Pros. Great headset with good noise canceling. However, anything more than a 2 hour leg and it will start to irritate your ears some.

In my opinion, noise canceling is just as good if not better in the QCs than the A20s. More comfortable too. You won't lose any hearing with the QC15s (the QC25s were just released, but no uflymike for them yet)

Just an observation but the uflymike and the DC-pro have noisy mikes.

There is a brand new Uflymike (TSO certified) with a 2 year old set of QC 15s for sale in the MSP crew room. $400.00 OBO

I bought it when I went to Delta but soon realized that the 717 has no interphone ( My Bad ) .

P.M me if interested. I used them for exactly 1 flight.

Yes, it sounds more like rolling thunder.
