Compass updates

I know some say not to, but if you can't get the time off/have the money to go to a job fair and don't have contacts at CPZ, calling them won't black list you. If you are genuine and just want to make sure Compass is a good fit for you, I can't see having them answer some questions being a big deal. Call and ask if it's OK to call them.

Anymore news on whether the DTW base might be closing?

The news you know, is the news we know.
It's still there, it's not getting sucked from like MSP, and new hires are going there within a few months of their hire date (RSV and nothing better) - so if CPZ is the place you're looking at, just because of DTW, don't put all your eggs in one basket.
LAX flying next month includes flights in and out of MSP (for the first time)...so no one can say that the MSP flying can't support the DTW with time, but we don't have those answers - sorry.

Good grief, I had no idea you guys were growing so huge. Too bad I got an interview offer too late. I might have come to Compass instead of Mesa. What's the upgrade time looking like?

Last summers new hires will be getting their upgrade award soon, within months. Upgrade time will drop, its basically a training department bottleneck. I really don't know what im talking about as far as planning but from just looking at the numbers we are way behind, the training department last year started in July not so much this year. Most of the flows this round were held back 90 days, the maximum allowed. What the training department plans on doing in the next 12 to 18 months is inconceivable to me.
