That's true. My buddy flys for them and said a pax tried to take his bag off the plane but he caught him by chance. He now uses a bike lock. I think the best solution would be a locking overhead that all crews have a key to.

I don't think they'll get a lock. A change to the aircraft would require an STC and be a lot of money. At that point might as well install the luggage locations.

Any chance compass might merge with tsa or gojet? That would ruin the quick upgrade.

This has already been discussed earlier in this thread, see ALPA merger policy...Compass pilots would have better career expectations if there was a merger, not to mention if this was going to happen it would have already, economically it makes no sense, especially with HK at the helm.

Maybe this has been mentioned but what are the flight benefits at Compass with AA and Delta? Interviewing in 2 Days. Thanks!

Absolutely not. I'm not an FO, and If this goes into effect, I will not let the FO carry everyones bags down the steps. Everyone will/need to be responsible for their own bags. Flight Attendants included. If that means we all go down to the ramp, so be it.
FO has enough work to do, in addition to keeping me out of trouble. He shouldn't be hauling bags.
