That's true. My buddy flys for them and said a pax tried to take his bag off the plane but he caught him by chance. He now uses a bike lock. I think the best solution would be a locking overhead that all crews have a key to.

I don't think they'll get a lock. A change to the aircraft would require an STC and be a lot of money. At that point might as well install the luggage locations.

Any chance compass might merge with tsa or gojet? That would ruin the quick upgrade.

Thankfully mergers take time and if it happened everyone will upgrade before any integration would take place. Look at XJT/ASA...

This has already been discussed earlier in this thread, see ALPA merger policy...Compass pilots would have better career expectations if there was a merger, not to mention if this was going to happen it would have already, economically it makes no sense, especially with HK at the helm.

Maybe this has been mentioned but what are the flight benefits at Compass with AA and Delta? Interviewing in 2 Days. Thanks!

Ask Pinnacle pilots about career expectations...

Should I? They weren't growing like Colgan was and had a bunch of inefficient 200's, I think you mean ask Pinnacle pilots why they didn't get a better SLI outcome with purchasing XJ and Colgan...

FO has enough work to do, in addition to keeping me out of trouble. He shouldn't be hauling bags.
This is why it will never happen. Most airports don't even want the F/O's on the SIDA for the walk around. Throw in the high visibility vest requirement, the fact that up to four or five times a day your bag has the potential to wind up on a baggage carousel somewhere and the idea that crew would have to put their bags below is ludicrous. FWIW I'm currently at YX and fly AA almost exclusively and all four of us stow our bags in the overhead..
