Simple facts: PSA and Piedmont voted in concessions when AAG was MAKING RECORD PROFITS. The pilots of Envoy decided, repeatedly, that we weren't willing to take concessions or sell future new hires down the river for shiny new airplanes while our CEO and upper level managers were lavishing in profits and bonuses. Airplanes which, by the way, are tools necessary to complete the job and not the responsibility of the pilots to subsidize.

Unfortunately the "brand" you built no one cares about. No one is going to buy a ticket because American Eagle operates the flight.

As far as families feeling the pain are you guys still under the impression that AAG is bluffing? It may be time to realize that making 95k a year while capped at year 12 might not be as good as making 105k at year 18 pay, but it is way better than making 0k if eagle is shrunk and eventually dissolved. I think 95k is enough to feed your family.
What he said.

Were you somehow under the illusion that Eagle / Envoy never was anything but an outsourced labor group that exists only so that it's owner can pay pilots less than what they get paid at mainline?

Were you somehow under the illusion that Eagle / Envoy actually owned its flying like the APA owns its flying?

Were you somehow under the illusion that Eagle / Envoy isn't beholden to just ONE customer for its services, a customer that just happens to own the airline outright?

Hey, I'm all for getting gains where possible, but reality is a b**** isn't it?

Don't get the Bose A20. or Telex.

Get the Bose QC15 and U fly mike separate combo. I've dabbled with all those headsets your asking about and the QC15 Uflymike is the best out there.
It's Clarence, old name was banned so he's back under this one. Of course he doesn't have to buy them mainline daddy is taking care of that bill.

Officially the company is aiming for 35 every two weeks. They'd up it to 40 but they can't fit that many people in the classroom for indoc.

They run us through an IPT curriculum before sims, and those are scheduled nearly 24/7.

Thanks as usual for the response Centerline. However, that explanation seems to suggest the seat map would show less open seats. In my experience it typically shows more.

Or are you saying a portion of the open seats on the seat map are being held for groups/company business/re-bookings?

While we're on the subject, United seems to give out upgrades like candy. You'll see one or two available first class seats and 30 upgrades listed. Is it realistic to get first class anymore? It was doable a few years back but every flight I go on now seems impossible.

After re-reading your post I see that you weren't labeling anyone a scab. We were both talking about scab-like-behavior, however, I just took exception to it because you fly for Skywest, a pilot group that has voted down representation a number of times and yet enjoys the fruits that the unionized pilots fought hard for. No worries, it is what it is, and as you say there are bigger things to worry about in this world.

That is exactly the problem right there! Either way, you'll hardly ever see FC unless you are booked PS in FC. International would be the exception to that.
