Anyone know how to remove a stripe from their uniform? I’m asking for a friend.

We need an LOA where forcibly downgraded captains can still wear the stripes. Republic has it.

mine came at about 13 months. I’m gonna go on a limb and say that if at the one year mark you are furloughed you won’t get it since you are no longer an active pilot.

Yea, I'm sure if you are furloughed at the time you are due the bonus, you won't get it, which is probably fair imo. I guess, to be more accurate, I was curious if it was 12 months from DOH, 12 months from end of systems (when you become a pilot per the CBA), 12 months from end of IOE, etc.

It's from DOH (but not CTP) but only paid out on a payday. So it can be off by up to two weeks.

It’s paid after the 1 year mark of indoc and you must be on active service at the one year mark to receive it. If you started on 1-15 it’s paid on the last paycheck of that month, 16th through end of month is first paycheck of following month.

If you started Indoc on September 30 2019, you get furloughed on October 1 2020 per the agreement you were an active pilot at the 12 month mark and you “should” get it on October 15th paycheck

The 12 mo bonus isn’t fully earned until after 24 mos of active service. So you’d be on the hook to pay it back if you went elsewhere during the furlough. Same with the big amount that could be paid after IOE ... it doesn’t start to be earned (vested) until after 12 mos.

The quarterly FO bonus for lack of upgrade after 24 months is vested as it pays, if I recall correctly. And the initial 5k signing is earned at completion of IOE.

This is also true, I would love to see at what point after recall they ask for the money back
