Technically, the scope issue has always been for all rj’s. Before COVID, UAX consistently stayed below 100%, even though they were allowed 120%. It’s just that the 70/76 seaters were hull limited, and they never wanted enough 50 seaters to ring the bell. After COVID, UAX exceeded the 100% mark by a bunch some months, but were always compliant with the 12 month look back for a 120% average. Now, UAX is limited to flying less block hours than United NB block on a month by month basis until the LOA terminates.

Any updates on recalls? Are hours picking up any? Things looking better or worse (especially with the recent spike in covid cases nationwide)? 1500+ hour former Airman Trainee here waiting for the day I get that call to come in for training (tech interview passed, then covid struck). 41yr old career changer hoping they call my number before I age out - Fortunately I have a sugar momma to help me get by and a long list of students that keep me busy while I wait.

Nothing yet. Bump in hours for Nov/Dec but projected to remain flat for Jan. Company would probably rather utilize reserves and JM’s to cover flying Nov/Dec because block hours will likely dip in Jan. Vaccine may help early next year.

Checking to see if there are any more updates this month on flying, increase in hours, recalling furloughed pilots, etc. Any updates would be appreciated

Nope no news. Slight drop in January as flying traditionally slows at that time. We got a new jacket option though! Sorry man ☹️

Well no vacancy for January from what I hear from people. Honestly not waiting till March or April to get called back if that even happens with how things are going in the industry. There comes a point where the aggravation and desperation aren’t worth the dream anymore.

I was told recalls will probably not happen at all in the first quarter of 2021.

Has the company or union said anything on what might happen if this relief package passes in congress? There's a good deal of money for airlines in it

Not yet. Probably waiting for it to finalize. I feel like we’ve been “close” to another relief package since July. Fingers crossed that it’s good and it gets you all back on property.
