AA will suffer the rath of their fabulous "flow" program in the years to come. They have almost zero control over who is coming to the school house. So they will only get ****ier as a whole in the future. Bringing in all the spineless envoy capts, immature psa f...s, and the piedmont folks who have beaten into submission. Good luck with that boys. AA will only go further down the perverbial glory tube. I for one wouldn't work there if I had too. Haven't even applied. I've saw enough of the glorious operation know as AA/airways in the past few years to know I'd never want to work for them. They are the spirit of the majors. I'll hold out for better.
You wouldn't work at AA but you work at one of the lowest paying regionals with no future who only flies for AA? Lol ok

Just because someone works at a gay bar, doesn't mean they are gay or love gay people more than anyone else. It was just the best job at the moment.

To his/her defense, awac was not the lowest paid until the bonuses hit the wo's. Also, its not the same working for an airline who is owned by American as opposed to one who simply does feed for them.

. I can think of a bunch of companies that are a lot worse to work for over AA/US. In fact most of them. The people that downplay the job are those who are secretly envious.

I was at AWAC eight years. Mainline is a completely different job. Never mind the 8 days of working long call reserve sitting at home while making $120k-$130k/yr, 16% 401k, the better hotels when you do work, the better equipment that generally doesn't even have a single MEL on it, drastically less work while you are on duty, etc. etc. Yeah, it's a horrible job, I kick myself for leaving AWAC every day I go to work

Yep. I'm far from an AA cheerleader but not applying to every legacy is just stupid and shortsighted.

Thanks for that.
