Rumor I heard is going back to United. But no growth. Just status quo. When that happened last time all the midwest commuters up and quit/moved on. So maybe some movement initially as CAs who live in east coast bases go nuts with the commute.

United would make the most sense/ provide the best hope with Kirby there now and his putting the kibosh on their 737-700 orders and the hope they were going to bring more RJ flying back in house. Maybe AWAC will get a CPP agreement in an effort to sweeten the deal.

Why would United come to AWAC? Hell they've got what they wanted in the 50 seat market with CommutAir and the East Coast flying. Plus I'm sure they remembered how AWAC left them to run off to US Airways in the past. Well maybe they don't hold a grudge like Delta does but still I don't see anything there.
AWAC can throw all kinds of money out to the group and by now it doesn't matter one bit when it comes to people staying or leaving. They need to grow and get the upgrade to come down. They need senior folks to move on to have that happen but those folks are to comfortable to go anywhere and don't want to start over.
None of which is happening. It's getting gloom and doom!

The fact the company hasn't come to the group with a new contract means there's NO deal in the future. Period. I think they are working hard but if they haven't come to the pilots for a new deal there's nothing close to in the works.

Just ignore what he says anyway. Just another "mainline guy" that comes back to make comments in the regional threads to make himself feel good because the guys in the major threads don't care for his childish regional bull****.
