Check your relitive seniority in a VRD base. I’ll save you the time, it’s 85%. Ready yourself for stagnation.

Well for starters you are full of crap. I've been at delta almost 3 years and I would be 56% in Seattle.....just math....

But instead I choose to be 68% in Seattle on the 75/76....kinda nice to have options...

3 and a half years in at Alaska and I bid for 14-15 day off lines. I'm sure they aren't jealous of the schedule here nor the inflexibility of it.

I've been at Delta a little over 1 year and I'm showing 84% in Seattle and have been holding a line in SEA on the 737 for a while now.
A lot of people leave the 73 in SEA. Some bid to 757/767, others A330. Some bid to commute for either upgrade or seniority reasons. A single 330 retirement can ripple through the entire company as people upgrade and move around. If everyone is wanting to stay in Seattle it has the potential to upgrade or otherwise move 6 pilots to either a higher seniority in their seat or a higher seniority seat (it's actually more complicated than that of course). I've flown with Captains who are pondering bidding to a widebody commute (and some do).
Alaska 73 pilots might not leave SEA... but there's plenty of movement on the 73 at DAL.
I'm not sure what you are trying to say about schedules, are you saying you don't like the schedules of people you know? If so it's all because they are intentionally making them like that, so there must be something they like about it.

Thanks for laying down some hard facts. Maybe it will help them rethink their situations.
