It’s not all about the size of the plane, the destinations, or an industry “leading” hourly rate. It is about mutual respect, meaning… industry “standard” scope and work rules.

If I were 25-35, without 20 years in…. I would most certainly be trying to leave. If you live on the west coast we are #6 if you live on the east coast we are a solid #7… If you want to live in Alaska #3😳

I said really, “so what is it UAL, AAL, or SWA.” He gave me a giant MW smile and said “United.” I am very happy for him, he drives to work now, but he never intended to stay here. It was never pay, scope, or scheduling… we simply didn’t have a Chicago base. Talk about a false narrative. Put a real honest story out there, don’t sell a lie…. I thought we were the honest ones, I thought we were better then that🤔.
If anyone was still wondering where OTZ's loyalties lay, now you know.

I've spoken with a guy who's talked to a lot of the people that've left. This was just a small sample.

I’m not sure the narrative of people leaving in droves is really accurate if the Union’s monthly seniority list and attrition document is correct.

“Where my loyalty lay”… sure you got me figured out. Last I checked, I helped out a family of our own at a multiple of 30x most… yup, I suck, a boot licker. Just imagine how much money that family would have if you all sucked as bad as I do!

I'm all about living in base, but some people don't have a choice... other than to get hired by somebody who has a base where they need to live.

I think attrition might pick up a bit but as of now, it’s not that bad. The ability to attract anyone that is worth a crap will be the big problem.

Attrition has never registered at Angle Lake. There is a ready supply of West Coasters ready to show up for class. Training failures are almost non-existant. There is no strategy that involves attrition or quality of hire or difficulty of hiring that will ever effect negotiations. It is worrisome that that tactic is creeping into negotiations. It is also worrisome that we are taking it to the public as a strategy. The news cycle/traveling public has an attention span of a gnat…We are in the 24-36 month cycle at this point…..Long Haulin
