SG, I have tons of respect for you, but I find your utterances these days to be bordering on bovine excrement. It is beneath you.
Maybe the angry crowd is the ex-VXers, because they were aware from the get go how bad AS contract is, and have been the canary in the coal mine since then. Many legacy ASers in the beginning were in their bubble telling us we had won the lottery, things are great at AS, etc.
Even families fight and argue amongst themselves as we seek a solution to our differences.
The great news I think is that even they, the legacy ASers, are beginning to realize/admit how bad it is here, and it seems like we are ready UNITE with regards to exploring all legal options available to secure a decent contract.
I commend you for making peace with your reality here at AS, but quit knocking those who choose to voice their discontent, agitate for change, and I presume would be willing to be in the front row if the call to action goes out.

I get it. All I'm saying is the online "us versus them" should stop. It should be just one unified pilot group, one "us." What's happened has happened. No amounts of rehashing history and going back and forth over other members is going to change anything. Ganging up on and attacking people like EJ isn't helpful. The blame game is pointless because right now it accomplishes nothing. Ultimate bottom line: pilots are unified, the union knows what the pilot group wants, needs, and expects, and we have the best group of people representing us at the table.
It's "us vs contract."
You just keep throwing yourself in the line of fire trying to defend that awful thing.

It’s weird how they will get so upset when someone points out a factual issue. They will make a personal attack and demand examples of said issue. If an example is provided they get more upset and defensive.
If you address the personal attack it’s game on. Red Herring is their only response.
What makes it even more confusing is that often the pilot group isn’t being addressed. It’s the potential new hires.

I thought my previous post was actually reasonable and with a unifying message. Apparently not.

Us vs contract? Not on APC it isn't. I keep seeing the "new" guard trash the "old" guard here on the forum. You're not going to make any friends this way. Both of you just end up coming off as whiners. That's why some respond back with "you're still here" and "why don't you leave, everyone else is hiring."

And when you say "some," you mean you.
If you would stop attacking people for being dissatisfied, then maybe you would find we're "unified" after all.
