The result will be the end of alaska airlines attempt to create a footprint outside of the Pacific Northwest. If alaska were to survive, it would become a shell of itself.. at least attrition and ability to hire won’t be a factor anymore.

Given that there are now three airlines looking at dance partners, I'd expect some more airlines to enter the fray. Front runners on my list are Allegiant, Alaska, Hawaiian, and/or Sun Country.
