means another big fish to compete with.
combined airlines with orders in the 700-750 range
pilot group in 9-9500 range
and a market share of a little over 10%

The result will be the end of alaska airlines attempt to create a footprint outside of the Pacific Northwest. If alaska were to survive, it would become a shell of itself.. at least attrition and ability to hire won’t be a factor anymore.

horizons current situation on the future is prohably
what alaskas future looks like. Cut the fleet in half, remain west of the Rockies.

Sweet jesus, you are a broken record. Do you think if you keep asking about it here it'll happen?

No but I’m sure this changes how the airlines are thinking about competing if it’s the B6 tie up instead

Most likely no effect on the one thing that would provide a benefit to clientele and workforce alike… #regimechange

This news is not good for Alaska. They better hope Frontier comes back to the table.

Given that there are now three airlines looking at dance partners, I'd expect some more airlines to enter the fray. Front runners on my list are Allegiant, Alaska, Hawaiian, and/or Sun Country.
