Then take the box of cards and send out a thank you, to every last one of them… got it😉 Good!

Not bad. The days don’t really matter so much as the coverage award language will apply to that whole bid period. I’ll guess the months. July, September, November, December, and January? With March as a backup to replace either September or jan.

That works. They didn’t hose your summer. Most carriers have 5 and a few have 4 last I checked. All have Nov Dec.

Good stuff.
I don’t think under the new system that scheduling is forced to release a reserve for the remainder of the month, that is at their choice but if they don’t then you are paid for the RAPs.

You're right. I don't work for Alaska, and believe me, I'm glad I don't... I work for Southwest which I've mentioned many times.

I also wouldn't give two sh*ts if you're paid in peanuts or soybeans. My problem is that pattern bargaining affects us all, and you are agreeing to:

1) Take a pay cut instead of getting a pay raise given the inflation rates.

2) You're promoting the company dragging their feet in future negotiations by not insisting on full retro. In fact, you're financially rewarding them for dragging their feet.

And in doing all that, especially in this pilot market, you're making our NC's job of securing an industry-leading contract that much tougher.

You're worth more... now if you could only actually believe it, everyone would be better off.

Free market economics. Currently, if they don't need you they keep you on reserve because why not?

The proposed system will incentivize them to cut you loose if they don't need you. If they need you, obviously they need you.

That's the theory. Not sure how it might play out in reality. Worst case you stay on reserve just because and get paid extra (I know, that's not what anybody wants).

Yup, the real reason all you guys are on on here. You don’t want to learn, your not worried about your buds, your just worried about yourselves. You know nothing about our new contract, you would never work for our crappy little company, no you are all at real airlines, real aviators, best of the best, and you have to make sure we know. oh SWA😉…pathetic, embarrassing. Your jealous, our new scheduling package is awesome, we started making $306 an hour September one. We are going to enjoy some of the best scheduling rules in aviation, making 30 bucks more an hour then you, and after next summer, when you get a new contract, we will snap right up to you. You just can’t handle that can you, you worry that’s not fair. RJS76, go away, everyone knows your just jealous, plus you are way too good to be here slumming!
I just can’t even imagine having the stones, being so self-indulged, so full of myself, that I would go to another airlines board and tell their pilots how to vote. Especially knowing none of you have a clue about our contract except for the 306 number and retro.🫢🫢🙄

Well since you’ve got the stones to come over here and tell US whether or not OUR contract is acceptable to YOU… here’s what I want y’all to do at SWA.

First, I want y’all to have a system wide picket with the percentages and unity we had. Second, I want y’all to have a strike vote with our percentages as well. I want you to do all this while also not having a single hostage who wildcats cause they get a wild hair.

and after all that….

Lead the by-god way brother!!!! Show us all how it’s done!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Maybe try typing that in the morning after you're done drowning your sorrows...

Funny you should say that. We had the largest picket in single location in Dallas in June. Over 1300 pilots out picketing. Check it out...

Something else, I admire you guys putting up very impressive pickets and a strike vote. But instead of capitalizing on it, you're choking. And to make matters worse, you seem to take issue with pilots from other airlines pointing out that you're better than this offer.

No one who comes here and tells you you deserve better is your enemy. Personally, I think you've been in a highly abusive relationship for far too long, and I'm here to effectively cheer you on in pointing out that this is the time to get yours. Instead of looking at this for what it is - a fellow pilot telling you you're better than that and that in this environment, you're choosing to look at those pilots as your enemy. That's what battered spouses do. They support their abusers and anyone pointing out to them that they can do better is their enemy.

That's sad.

OTZ… you are probably the most condescending character on this board and some of your posts are beyond normal BUT this post right here shows that there might be hope for you yet. This is your first post that I can actually agree with.
Credit where Credit is due, I hope you are enjoying your early retirement 😉
