No worries! It's just annoying when people are like "please answer all of these questions...oh, and I don't/won't/can't look them up myself b/c I don't have the time to do so so you all do it for me..." This wasn't your intent, I apologize for being abrupt! The VA pilots on this forum are super helpful and cool for all of us with questions.

JFK parking is basically the Lefferts long term parking employee lot. So you have to take the Airtrain from the Lefferts station to the Terminal 4. I'd say at 20-30 minutes for this ordeal. LGA is the parking spot so that's valet parking and their constant shuttles. From door to door is pretty quick, like 10 minutes. EWR is an employee lot south of the airport and those shuttles run very frequently. From door to door is about 15 minutes.

Just got the TBNT after interviewing with Virgin, so I feel as though I can freely comment on what we were told.

I interviewed last week with 7 others. We were told there were around 30 in the pool currently, and classes wouldn't start until end of summer. We were told if we were successful that we could expect a class date at end of year, beginning of next.

It seems the key to getting a call now is a LOR. I've personally applied every opening for at least 3 years. 3700TT, 200TPIC, and an associates. Every person interviewing that day had a LOR.

Good luck to future candidates.

Sorry to hear about your TBNT. Hopefully this is just the opening to something better!

Thanks. No big deal. I really wanted the job.

I take solace in the fact that the reason the product is as good as it is, is because they're extremely good at hiring only those who are "virgin enough." If it means eliminating people who are but can't show it, then oh well.

Hey I think you have a really good attitude regarding the TBNT whereas some people will have ill will. I know of people that have gotten hired a year later after the waiting period, as well as some people who just weren't able to show they were a fit for the brand even though they were. If you're still around and interested in a year, I'd be more than happy to write you a LOR, for what that's worth.

Sitting in the passenger seat of my girlfriend's car passing SFO, she says "you know Virging offers a paid year sabbatical every three years," to which I respond where did you hear that and the likelihood of that for flight crews is so infinitesimally low. "A friend knows someone who interviewed there..."

So...their corporate folks get this deal or is this totally bad intel for the company at large...or do you guys really have some hidden gem that is so insanely ludicrous a I can't believe it?

No paid annual leave that I'm aware of. The Virgin in the UK just approve some baby bonding leave for 12 months that is paid but this isn't applicable to the USA operation.
