So the next access I have to my computer with my logbook and employment history, resume', etc, will be several days after window closes. Nice. They could have realized that we as pilots as are sometimes gone for extended lengths of time. A heads-up several days out or a >7 day window would have been nice. Sigh.
Call in sick. Get home. Submit the app. Simple.

You really only need your resume, kind of. The application is insanely simple. For you hours is asks for a broad range of experience (i.e. 4-6K Hours). If you have ever emailed your resume you can use that, or if you have a Likedin account you can use that. Don't count yourself out.

Yes, you really only need it to attach to your application. It will parse the info into the fields, which you'll have to go and change anyway since it puts it all in the wrong place.

Perhaps someone can access your laptop for you and send it?

Or open your airlineapps.com account and access your info.

Good idea; I'll try that and see how it works on mobile.

Quoted from a post just before yours:

"You and your pilot friends might have heard there wasn't going to be another window with the addition of the new Smart Recruiter system, but there have been some logistic and IT challenges with integrating the two systems. We are hopeful the Smart Recruiter program will become our primary application method in the future."

In other words, it ain't workin' right yet.

For what it's worth, the way the questions are worded makes it seem like 499 hours of TPIC are treated exactly the same as 0 hours, 3999 hours of total time are treated the same as 3000, 364 days of being active in your community is treated the same as 0, etc etc. Seems like it's pretty easy to see where they are drawing the lines as far as what the minimums are going to be to be considered competetive

Luckily this was a leap year so you will have 365 days of volunteer work.

the app is still better than airline apps. That took me several days. I did Alaska's in less than an hour.

Leap years have 366 days, so any year is a good "Alaska volunteer of the year..year"
