I think the math would be much more than that. 8 crews per plane isn’t enough. 11-12 crews. 360+ pilots.
All the flights over 12 hrs, 4 crew and if we can get mandatory 2 Capt per flight, then half of that number will be Capts. Up to at least 480 pilots for the 12.

2 CAs on 4 pilot crews is where I hope we’re aiming.

My math was a WAG using 10 crews per plane. Eastern Asia and western Europe are all less than 12 hours from SEA. Southeast Asia and deep Europe could certainly require more crews per plane. Two Captains for over 12 hours would be great.

No worries Akamai, yea just conversation worthy stuff.
Maybe you mean, Eastern Asia and Western Europe..?
On an avenge sure, but if either way is more than 12, but you’re already familiar I’m sure.
London maybe but Paris and Rome, those are pushing the limits.
Taipei and further, 12+
Anyway, as long as it’s always no less than 2 Captains.

480 pilots for 12 planes! HAL has 426 A330 pilots for 24 planes
