If you're sending in reports, but after you operate that could be risky. Basically going on record operating fatigued, and it could come back to bite you.

I do understand the practical realities of calling in fatigued every other week (it's much easier to do once every year or three).

very often you become fatigued during a flight. That’s when fatigue reports are most important to file. It brings attention to the fact that pilots are starting out feeling fine, but are fatigued by the time they get to the critical landing phase of flight. We are encouraged at HA to file fatigue reports regardless of whether we call out fatigued or not.

Yeah on reserve in Seattle I wouldn’t be surprised to see people bang out way more than that.

At AS we are as well. Fatigue reports regardless of a fatigue call was supported by the Base Chief Pilots office as well as the MEC.

Obviously, there are a lot of tired old opinions that are not true still floating around by the pilot group.

LOL, don't think so highly of yourself.

It's literally what several union volunteers have told me. I didn't get offended when they almost verbatim said that when I brought up a couple issues I had.

Either union volunteers told you I specifically wasn’t sending in fatigue reports which would not only be unethical but untrue. This would be surprising.

Or

You don’t understand how the English language works. Which would not be surprising.
